Ms. Khan focuses her practice on a range of litigation matters, including matters involving:

• Premise liability
• Products liability
• Construction defect
• Automotive litigation

Before joining CMM, Ms. Khan served as a Judicial Clerk & Staff Attorney to the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Richard A. Lanzillo of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. During this two-year federal clerkship, she managed pretrial litigation involving a variety of civil and constitutional matters, conducted extensive legal research, and drafted memorandum opinions, recommendations, and orders addressing dispositive, non-dispositive, and pretrial motions. She also assisted with hearings and trials and developed systems to improve chambers operations.

Previously, Ms. Khan gained experience in employment law while serving as a judicial intern with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) under Administrative Judge Amy L. Weinhaus. Ms. Khan also was exposed to extensive litigation experience while working with the St. Louis Public Defenders Office in the felony division and with Mina’s List, a non-profit that aided in the emergency extraction and relocation of Afghan parliamentarian members and activists during the 2021 fall of Kabul.

Ms. Khan was selected for the Order of Barristers in recognition of excellence in trial and appellate advocacy. The prestigious honor is awarded to only six students in each graduating class; Ms. Khan had a graduating class of 285. She also received the award for the highest brief score in the 52nd Annual National William B. Spong, Jr. Moot Court Competition, and recognition for placing among the top five brief scores in the National American Bar Association Moot Court Competition. She advanced to the quarterfinals of the National American Bar Association Moot Court Competition.

Drawing on her experience in federal court, employment law, and public-interest litigation, as well as her distinguished record in trial and appellate advocacy, Ms. Khan brings a rigorous and practical approach to every matter she handles.
