7/14/2025 – Christian Wong v. Ira Rennert, et al.:

Plaintiff Christian Wong sought damages for personal injuries after he fell into a pool while working as a server at a party on Long Island. Wong alleged that his fall occurred because someone had removed decorative tile covering the pool. During discovery, our office established that our client Hitech Events, LLC was not involved in the decision to remove the missing cover, and, in fact, another defendant admitted to doing so. Justice Mary Ann Brigantti agreed with our arguments that our client could not be responsible to plaintiff under these circumstances and granted summary judgment on all claims and cross-claims against Hitech Events.
